Ideal client(s) come forth
Chapter One
Rachel Savage asked me recently what would be my ideal client. My first response was "Someone with a sizeable budget".
As I have let it rest in me over the last week, the things that have emerged are:
1) An organisation/community/group who are stuck with issues where they cannot see the answers through "normal" means. This means that they have tried many times and cannot seem to find a resolving movement.
2) A client who wants to be in a longer term relationship. Commitment is key to the kind of work and presence that I offer.
3) Leadership that wants to include people, families, places, the wider ecology of things. I love to work with people where nothing is off the table, and difficult or complex conversations and experiences are part of the work.
4) People who want to cultivate and build in space for emergent shifts in systems over time.
My name is Jamie Colston, and I have spent many years living questions and finding embodied answers which I live daily, around family, community, society, politics, culture and spirituality. I am an Art of Hosting practitioner, Systemic Constellations facilitator, Intergenerational Community Organiser, Father and Wizard Man (as my children call me).
I write poetry as a way to collect and collate the wisdom found in relational learning, and tell stories that help people connect with greater depth and understanding.
